Being brutally honest about our shadow thoughts and fears and staying present with the feelings in the moment is how we invite our shadow self in — our wounded inner child that deserves to be listened to and given a big ol’ hug. This process should always be followed by a self care and nourishment routine to let it integrate through. This way we make sure we have released ourselves of the wounded cycle and are letting it go energetically.
Yes! This is much of the mentoring I do. It is truly master level work and I am always in awe and priviledged to work with those courageous souls who are ready to do the deeper work. Many require an anchoring presence, a sacred witness so to speak who can hold that sacred space.
